Marisa + Gabriel

Season: Summer
Style: Relaxed, Fun

These are a few of my favorite things:

postcard guestbook

Instead of a guest book, Marisa and Gabriel pre-addressed dozens of postcards for their guests to take and send to them at a later date. That way, they get to enjoy fun notes from their family and friends all year long.

impromptu dance party

Marisa and Gabriel weren’t planning on dancing after dinner; however, after dinner, everyone was feeling ready to celebrate. So we broke out a speaker, guests kicked off their shoes, and everyone busted out their best dance moves on the grass between the trees and flowers. It was such a beautiful moment to get to witness. A lovely new family being surrounded by people who love them so deeply that they couldn’t contain their joy and had to dance it out.

family unity ceremony and Intentional toasts

Gabriel and Marisa included their sweet daughter in their ceremony by having her partake in a special floral unity ceremony. It was so special to see these people join together into one new family. This day wasn’t just the union of Gabriel and Marisa, but of their whole family too. Talk about intentional. When we asked what the couple wanted to prioritize for their day, they responded with “toasts.” It’s not often that we hear this answer, but I’m telling you, there was not a dry eye in the house during those toasts. It was so special to see just how much each and every guest loved the couple and how much the couple loved them.
